Valentino Rossi is arguably the world's greatest motorcycle rider and has made Moto GP more popular than ever due to the new level of enthusiasm and excitement he has brought to his sport.
His career achievements are unprecedented; Rossi holds more records than any other driver despite his young age. He has won six world championships and is only the second driver in history to achieve two consecutive titles on bikes from different manufacturers, Honda and Yamaha. He has conquered the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc championships.
Rossi rides with the number 46 on his bike, which was also the number his father Graziano Rossi used who was also a celebrated motorcycle star in the 1970's.
